A  letter dated 22nd June 1974. Handwriten in black ballpoint pen by Fritz Wegner. Letter is 160mm x 210mm.

The letter is written to a Mr Williams and is a reply to a request for some artwork relating to the 1974 Medieval Warriors issue, presumably for charitable purchases. Fritz Wegner offers one of his preliminary working drawings. See item below.

A pencil sketch  (mentioned in letter above) on white card signed by Fritz Wegner. The sketch is a preliminary drawing for the 1974 Medieval Warriors issue. The sketch itself measures 153mm x 110mm (the card is 210mm x 160mm). The sketch is very similar to the final issued design for the 4½p value of this issue.
